We are delighted to be hosting an inaugural conference focusing on early cancer diagnosis and screening uptake in the region.

The NHS long term plan for Cancer aims to save thousands more lives every year by improving how cancer is diagnosed and treated. This conference has been developed to focus on how we can achieve this collectively in Suffolk.

This conference will feature speakers with lived experience of cancer, health professionals leading the way in tackling health inequalities and SMµ÷½ÌȦ academics. Our aim is to bring together local organisations, businesses and individuals who are interested in being at the forefront of improving early cancer diagnosis and screening uptake in Suffolk.

This conference is funded by the Cancer Community Partnership Fund through Suffolk Community Foundation and is therefore free to attend. Lunch will be provided on the day. We have limited capacity so we kindly ask that if you can no longer attend the event, you inform us as soon as possible.

Poster Competition
As part of the conference, we are inviting students to design a poster. Shortlisted posters will be displayed at the conference with three winners being selected by a panel. Winners will receive Amazon vouchers and the opportunity for their posters to be made available locally. For more information and how to submit your poster, please read our Early Cancer Diagnosis Conference - Poster Competition Briefing.
